Details:	I spent a week staying with friends near Queenstown during my second trip to New Zealand and struggled to get motivated to shoot as the light was less than average every day. This particular morning I decided that it might be worth heading out before sunrise anyway, and if the light was no good at least I could do some reconnaissance work searching for new locations to shoot. We drove up near the top of Coronet Peak and started to explore a mountain track. As the sun rose and came over the mountains I instantly saw this photograph so setup my gear and captured the light before the sun rose too high in the sky. This view looks towards Queenstown from Coronet Peak. The snow covered mountain range on the left is The Remarkables and the lake in the distance is Lake Wakatipu.
