Our Whitsundays photography tour is a luxury 3 day photography tour based out of Hamilton Island in Queensland.

A small group of amateurs through to semi-professional photographers are escorted around the magnificent Whitsunday Islands on private boat charters while being taught essential photography skills. All locations are visited at the best time of day to capture them.

This is a premium Mark Gray workshop, limited to only 4 participants to ensure everyone has plenty of freedom to find creative compositions and receive a superior level of attention at every location.

Photography Tour Highlights

• Capture the amazing scenery of the Whitsunday Islands and surrounds, photographing them at the best times of the day: Hamilton Island, Whitehaven Beach, Hardy Reef, Hill Inlet, Betty's Beach, Heart Reef, Cedar Creek Falls and more. • Enjoy an incredible 1.5 hour doors-off helicopter flight over Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet, Hardy Reef and Heart Reef. • Enjoy a full day luxury private boat charter to Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet on Whitsunday Island. • Learn quickly with only 4 participants plus Mark Gray's expert knowledge and experience. NOTE: You will have Mark's undivided attention, he will not be shooting. • Expand your photography and post-processing skills in our intimate small group processing and critiquing session. • Relax at the end of a productive day shooting in your own private suite in the luxury Beach Club Resort, Hamilton Island. (Adults Only) • Savour delicious, gourmet restaurant meals and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the tour.

3 days luxury accommodation is included in the tour cost. Participants are accomodated in their own private, luxury suites allowing comfort and relaxation during down time.

Suitable for amateurs through to semi-professionals
*** We highly recommend completing a 1 day workshop first to learn necessary skills for a 3 day tour

Fitness Level / Difficulty
This trip requires a moderate level of fitness with some beach and trail walking. You will also need to be comfortable traveling in boats and flying in a helicopter with the doors removed.

Equipment/Clothing Required
· Digital OR Film Camera (Digital is preferred as it allows for on-location photo critique)
· Tripod
· Sturdy, Comfortable Walking Shoes
· Suitable clothing for cool conditions at 1000 - 3000 feet with the helicopter door removed.
