I discovered this beautiful cascade on my second trip to Karijini National Park in 2019. Karijini is located in the stunning Pilbara region of north Western Australia. It's without a doubt my favourite region to photograph in Australia.
I had flown in 5 days early to prepare for our upcoming Karijini Colours photography tour the following week and spent every minute of daylight exploring the incredible gorges.
On my first visit into Dale’s Gorge I walked from Fortescue Falls right through to Circular Pool during the middle of the day. It was around 37c at the time so thankfully I could stop during the hike to cool off in some of the pools and cascades.
I discovered these beautiful little cascades along the way but the midday light was too harsh so I decided I would need to come back again.
The following day, I returned to Dale’s Gorge in the late afternoon. The cascades were looking absolutely stunning with the warm light bouncing off the gorge walls, what an incredible time to be there! |

For unframed prints and gallery wall stock (framed prints), Australia wide delivery takes 1-2 weeks and International delivery takes 2-3 weeks. For custom framed prints, Australia wide delivery generally takes 6-8 weeks and International delivery time takes 8-10 weeks.
