Surfers Paradise is one of the most popular family holiday destinations in Australia. Backing on to a beautiful surf beach, it boasts many tourist attractions.
My family and I spent 5 days at Surfers Paradise in October 2016, taking it easy during the day and out shooting every sunrise and sunset.
This particular location is my favourite in the region, looking across a Gold Coast canal back towards Surfers Paradise.
I have attempted to capture it for quite some years now but I've never been happy with the conditions when visiting.
There have been numerous times i've experienced beautiful light without reflections or reflections with insignificant light but never both at once.
You can imagine my excitement when on the third night of our stay I could see an incredible sunset developing and not a breath of wind!
I raced down here and setup, capturing this beautiful photo just as the sunset colours peaked.
What an incredible moment.
I just love how the light from the sunset reflected back off the building windows and canal in front of me.

For unframed prints and gallery wall stock (framed prints), Australia wide delivery takes 1-2 weeks and International delivery takes 2-3 weeks. For custom framed prints, Australia wide delivery generally takes 6-8 weeks and International delivery time takes 8-10 weeks.
