Shortly after moving down the Mornington Peninsula in April 2012, we decided to work towards launching our second retail gallery in Main Street, Mornington. At this point I began shooting Mornington Harbour regularly at sunrise but could never seem to catch a break with the lighting conditions.
In August, we opened the Mornington Gallery and I continued to shoot the Harbour
whenever possible. Over summer the sun shifted too far to the south for my liking so I waited a couple of months then started shooting here again, still not having much luck with the light.
Finally on the last day of April 2013 I was driving back to the Mornington Gallery after running some errands when I saw huge potential in the sky for a magic sunset.
I raced down to the harbour just as the light show in the sky began. I setup my gear and nailed this incredible sunset. Only seconds later the colour disappeared and I returned to the gallery, content that I had finally captured this beautiful location at it's absolute best.

Print Information

For unframed prints and gallery wall stock (framed prints), Australia wide delivery takes 1-2 weeks and International delivery takes 2-3 weeks. For custom framed prints, Australia wide delivery generally takes 6-8 weeks and International delivery time takes 8-10 weeks.
