Barrenjoey Headland is an unusual piece of land that is situated at the top of Sydney's northern beaches.
This location has been on my list to shoot for many years however the gates to the national park are locked every night at sunset and then opened the following morning at sunrise. I decided that sunrise would offer the best conditions but realised that I would have to get locked in the national park overnight in order to shoot it. It was a long night sleeping in the car but I was rewarded the following morning with a sensational sunrise!

Print Information
