Avalon Beach is one of the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney.
I was visiting Sydney in June of 2021 to sign a stack of prints at our print lab, Pixel Perfect. The flight times meant that I needed to spend the night in Sydney before flying home to the Sunshine Coast so I decided to bring my camera gear with me. I planned to do a sunrise shoot the following morning before flying home but just wasn't sure where!
After signing my prints, I decided to drive up to the Northern Beaches and spend the night in a motel.
I have always loved the sea baths along Sydney's beaches so I researched a few nearby and settled on Avalon as the destination to visit in the morning. The swell was up and the tides were perfect to get some good water flow over the edge of the baths.
I woke up at 5am, grabbed my gear and headed to Avalon. When I arrived, the water flow was perfect but unfortunately there wasn't a cloud in the sky, it was totally clear! I considered relocating to another beach but knew I would probably miss the sunrise so instead I prayed and asked God for just a few clouds in the sky. I knew it was against all odds and didn't expect much to change but clearly I need to work on my faith because clouds suddenly appeared from behind the cliff! They arrived just in time for the rising sun. What an amazing God I serve, it's moments like these that are a firm reminder of his power and grace.

Print Information

For unframed prints and gallery wall stock (framed prints), Australia wide delivery takes 1-2 weeks and International delivery takes 2-3 weeks. For custom framed prints, Australia wide delivery generally takes 6-8 weeks and International delivery time takes 8-10 weeks.
